What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website saves in your browser. Browser storage (localStorage) works in a similar way but stays on your device. We keep both to a minimum.
What we use
| Name | Type | Purpose | Lasts |
|---|---|---|---|
| ck_sid | Cookie · strictly necessary | Keeps you signed in. It holds only a random session ID — never your password or details. Secure and HttpOnly. | Until you close your browser or sign out |
| ck_pending | Cookie · strictly necessary | Only when you sign up with Google: carries your name and email to the sign-up form so you don't have to retype them. | 15 minutes |
| ck_age | Browser storage | Remembers that you confirmed you are 18+ and in the UK. | Until you clear it |
| ck_cookies | Browser storage | Remembers your cookie choice. | Until you clear it |
Third-party cookies
If you use Google Sign-In, Google may set its own cookies; see Google's cookie policy. Our games are hosted on our own website, but some games may use browser storage to remember in-game settings. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
Your choices
Strictly necessary cookies can't be switched off, because sign-in wouldn't work without them. You can change your choice any time with the button, and you can block or delete cookies in your browser settings — but you'll then be signed out and asked to confirm your age again.
